Her research interests revolve around the effects of mindfulness training on attention and emotion regulation, authenticity, resilience, errors, and performance under pressure.
Previously, Ellen traded in commercial real estate for 8 years with CBRE.
She is also a yoga instructor and executive meditation coach.

About Dr. Ramm Hering
Dr Hering, MD MSc CCFP (AM) Dip PH Dip ABAM CCSAM FASAM, is an Addiction Medicine physician in Victoria, British Columbia (BC).
His work combines clinical addiction medicine, medical education and program/policy development. He is the founding physician lead at the inpatient Addiction Medicine Consult Service and founded the outpatient Rapid Access Addiction Clinic both in Victoria BC.
Dr Hering works at the Island Health Addiction Outpatient Treatment Clinic and the Pandora Clinic in Victoria. He is the Victoria Site Director for the BC Center on Substance Use Clinical Addiction Medicine Fellowship and Physician Lead for Addiction Medicine Education.
